COVID-19 Update

As I am sure you will be expecting with the current circumstances and uncertainty about large gatherings we have made the decision to cancel Dickensian 2020 and replan for
3rd December 2021.

Please do check our website or Facebook Page for any further updates

Also, do get in touch via e-mail if you are interested in taking part next year.
However, please be aware we are a small team so you may not receive a quick reply.
We are keeping any enquiries we receive in one place and we will get in touch with any future event developments when we know more!

STEP-BY-STEP  INSTRUCTIONS  FOR  BOOKING  A  STALL

STEP 1. Visit the Eventbrite Page for the area you would like your stall to be (If you do not know where you should go please email dickensianemails@gmail.com)
STEP 2. Pay for your stall via Eventbrite
STEP 3. Receive a confirmation email with a link to fill out our Risk Assessment
STEP 4. Email/post a copy of your Public Liability Certificate of Insurance to dickensianemails@gmail.com

This is due to the high demand for this event and for us to make sure we have a range of different food and drink sold during the evening!

Bands, choirs, dancers, carol singers, performing arts groups, we want to hear from you!

WHAT'S INCLUDED WHEN YOU BOOK A STALL FOR DICKENSIAN EVENING?_____________________________________________________________________________

IN THE THE DRILL HALL 

1 x Go-Pak table 5’ by 2’6 – must buy multiples if you need more than 1 table
Electricity is available to some of the stalls adjacent to the walls.
Please indicate your preferred space and we will do our best to accommodate
Set-up of stalls from 4.30 pm

TUDOR SQUARE

1 x 3-meter pitch area with electricity (for lighting only)– must buy multiples if you need more than 3 meters
Must provide your own tables/gazebos/market stalls
Set-up of stalls from 4.30 pm

HIGH STREET & BALDOCK STREET

1 x 3-meter pitch – must buy multiples if you need more than 3 meters
Electricity is not available – if you need electricity you will have to bring your own generator or battery powers equipment
You must provide your own tables/gazebos/market stalls
Set-up of stalls from 6 pm after the roads have closed

ROAD  CLOSURES

Amwell End between Broadmead's and Viaduct Road - High Street between New Road and Priory Street, including West Street and East Street - Baldock Street between Priory Street and the junction with the Watton Road Roundabout - Church Street between Crib Street and High Street

*Road Closures for 2020 may change, but will most likely remain the same*

*As per normal - all areas will be closed to traffic from 6 pm – 10 pm*
