  • The Drill Hall - Local Craft Stalls & Small Traders 
  • Tudor Square - Local Community Groups & Charities ONLY
  • High Street & Baldock Street - Young Enterprise, Food & Drinks Stalls, Other Charities & Small Businesses 

STREETS CLOSED FOR THE EVENT: Amwell End, High Street, Baldock Street, Church Street, East Street and West Street

Step-By-Step Guide to Booking a Stall:

  1. Visit the Eventbrite Page for the area you would like your stall to be (If you do not know where you should go please email
  2. Pay for your stall via Eventbrite
  3. Receive a confirmation email from the event organisers with a link to fill out our Risk Assessment or send a copy of your own Risk Assessment
  4. Send through your business/groups Public Liability Document to before the event date


Are you a commercial food & drink trader/food van/local food vendor?

Please e-mail before you apply for a pitch.

This is due to high demand for this event and for us to make sure we have a range of different food and drink sold during the evening!


Entertainment for Dickensian

Bands, choirs, dancers, carol singers, performing arts groups, we want to hear from you!

If you are interested in performing during Dickensian Evening 2019 please do get in touch by emailing and we will try and accommodate your group as best we can.




1 x Go-Pak table 5’ by 2’6 – must buy multiples if you need more than 1 table
Electricity is available to some of the stalls adjacent to the walls.
Please indicate your preferred space and we will do our best to accommodate
Set-up of stalls from 4.30pm




1 x 3-meter pitch with electricity (for lighting only)– must buy multiples if you need more than 3 meters
Must provide your own tables/gazebos/market stalls
Set-up of stalls from 6 pm

Please Note: Planned works may be taking place in Tudor Square in 2018, you will be notified if this is the case and a new spot will be allocated.




1 x 3-meter pitch – must buy multiples if you need more than 3 meters
Electricity is not available – if you need electricity you will have to bring your own generator or battery powers equipment
You must provide your own tables/gazebos/market stalls
Set-up of stalls from 6 pm after the road have closed

We have a few spaces left in the High Street and Baldock Street - please enquire by emailing before you book as we try to avoid having stalls selling similar products on the night.
